Summary: Hangs the window - why?

(X V10 R4 on sun 3's under their 3.0)

There seems to be a problem with xterm when you hit ^C several times within a
window.  Specifically, it "hangs".  The scrollbar menus work fine but the
kill/terminate.. options don't kill/terminate it.  I am wondering if anyone
else has experienced this behavior, and/or if anyone has found out why/how to
fix it.
