Just a short note - if you're going to send me mail discussing something
that is from this newsgroup and *don't want it posted* (e.g. it's mail
to me explicitly) PLEASE indicate this in the message.  Recently a message
someone sent me was posted to the group even though it was intended as
private mail.

And now...back to our regularly scheduled newsgroup.

	(incidentally, expect the newsgroup name to change in the next
	 few weeks to "comp.society" probably.  I'll send out sufficient
	 warning, however)
