Since VMS 4.4 whenever I call unix machines over X29 (Janet)
using PSIPAD some lines displayed on the screen get broken/split,
i.e. they have either a CR or an LF inserted.  Logs of a session,
no matter how detailed (/CCITT), fail to show the 'faults'. 

Does anyone have any idea of the cause or, better still, a fix.
