Is VMS a requirement. Considering the software that you are looking at, maybe you are best getting Berkely Unix, V4.3 which comes with a lot of this software FREE. (Unless you've got a rich uncle.) We're installing it next week, so I can't tell you the size of the images. Anotehr nice thing about UNIX is that its easier to throw utilities out. Use the money you save to buy a bigger disk drive.
