Has anyone done this, or can < you suggest a method I might use? I wold like our customer base to < bear this responsibility instead of our accounting office. About two years ago I wrote a program to do this. It is written in VAX C, and allows a user to extend his cputime limit at weekends and in the evening. It needs CMKRNL privilege, and needs to be linked with the system symbol table to get at the symbols CTL$GL_PHD ( pointer to the process header ) and PHD$L_CPULIM ( offset within the PHD of the CPU time limit ).
