As I get them (on a Xerox Alto), most messages have subject fields of "Submission for mod-computers" or no subject at all. So, I've got to slosh through some 50 messages a day, and only about 1% are of any interest to me. Digests with a table of contents would REALLY make my life a lot easier. Since I got the impression that it wasn't clear to you all, my comments about vanilla VMS users was meant to be flip, rather than cruel. --Lisa
