We are developping an object-oriented machine built around a VME bus with a home-made processor called HIP. We plan to connect this machine to a VaxStation via the buses to improve the debugging facilities we have already developped and to get some control on the peripheral cards, like printer and terminal ports and mainly the memory card. This facility is of a great interest for us, because our processor uses a general heap as memory management policy, and we plan to design a co-processor handling garbage collection supporting real time constraints. Any informations about such a card (and the associated driver) will be greatly appreciated. You can reply directly to me and I'll resume for the net.
