Ganzer) ------- While in Los Angeles last week on business, I saw an import copy of "The Whole Story" CD. Having read about the questionable quality of the domestic copy, and having not seen the import version here in San Diego yet (I hadn't been to the right places yet), I bought it. Because of various reasons, I didn't get to listen to it until yesterday.Guess what? The disk is atrocious (yes it is an import, says "Made in U.K"). Throughout what is side 1 of the LP, I hear loud, crackling noises mixed in with the peaks of the music. It disappears at the beginning of "Running Up That Hill". Thank God at least I still have the LP. I picked up a copy of "The Dreaming" CD (import) locally yesterday, and it is one of the best CD's I've heard to date. Mark T.
