Waara >Ward portrays Jeffry Lee Pierce as an insufferable crybaby... That doesn't particularly surprise me. Judging from his lyrics he seems to be a bit of an ass, not to mention a racist ("...huntin' for niggers down in the dark...") In fact, I wanted to cover "For the Love of Ivy" when Hunger Artist first started, but our drummer took exception to the above line. It's too bad, Gun Club had some really good stuff. I've heard some mention of Thin White Rope before--any pointers to albums? Does either band have a similar sound? The Bad Brains and Gang Green are playing Buffalo this Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes. Eventhough _I Against I_ is a slick album, it still packs a lot of power. What happened to the Reggae though? ~Pat P.S. I was wonderin' what happened to music-flamers.
