Yes, RE/Search is still around, their latest issue (co-written
by Boyd "NON" Rice) is on "Incredibly Strange Films" (Russ Meyer,
_I Walked with a Zombie_, _Blood Feast_, other low budget epics).
Issue #10.  You can order from them direct - I'll fetch their address
again if there's interest.  Issue 5 was the Burroughs/Gysin/TG,
issue 6/7 was the industrial culture handbook, and I believe issue
8/9 was on J.G. Ballard.

Having just read MAUS, I asked a friend what he thought of it -
he called Spiegelman "anti-Semitic."  Clinging to stereotypes etc.

Been missing out on shows lately, in particular one last night at folk
club Ashkenaz in Berkeley - Fred Frith / Henry Kaiser / Richard Thompson...
missed fIREHOSE too...
