How about "leaden drumming," "tasty guitar licks," "fierce vocal
intensity," "delightfully melodic," "relentlessly funky bass riff,"
"shimmering solo work," etc.?  Gee, maybe I can write for the
Village Voice Riffs section someday!!!!!!!!!
