It has extra stuff in it for our local chaosnet hosts, and I think it does a few things incorrectly here and there, but it would be a good starting point for someone who might want to tune it up a bit. It uses the domain system and I've stripped out all the Berkeley specific cruft that most people have. It's much less confusing than the standard distribution file. It's in the public ftp area on hermes.ai.mit.edu.
