The formatted recipes that follow are decoded using troff or nroff with a special macro package. There is also some software to help you extract and save the recipes. Everything having to do with mod.recipes, including the macros, software, and back issues of recipes, can be retrieved by mail from the recipe archive system at decwrl; send mail saying "help" to archive-server@decwrl.dec.com or {ihnp4,ucbvax,decvax,sun,hplabs,allegra}!decwrl!archive-server for more information. The help message and the archive indexes are posted to this newsgroup once a month. In Europe, please use the European archive server, which is a much simpler program. Mail to recipe@tcom.stc.co.uk with the retrieval key in the Subject line. The retrieval key "index" gets you the current index. There is no formal archive service in Australia, but many people there have all of the recipes, so please ask around locally before using expensive transoceanic mail.
