It will be down for an undetermined time. It shouldn't have too much effect on news flow, since both hao and oddjob have other feeds, but it may seriously delay some mail replies to netnews articles (I can only speak for mail going FROM hao TO oddjob, but those messages WILL be held and delivered when the link comes back up). Note that this may include many replies that follow the path of the news article to send the mail reply, as well as mail messages sent from sites that use the mod.map data to route uucp messages. This includes many messages that are NOT destined for hao or oddjob, but are simply routed through that link. The link has apparently been dead since Thursday, March 19, and as of now is still down. I do not know when it will return. --Greg -- UUCP: {hplabs, seismo, nbires, noao}!hao!woods CSNET: woods@ncar.csnet ARPA: woods%ncar@CSNET-RELAY.ARPA INTERNET: woods@hao.ucar.edu
