Yes, it's true!  Sniff, sob, gasp.  Oddjob's newly-forged links
to hao, uwvax and mimsy are all dead for the same not-quite-yet-
determined cause.  It's out of my control.  There's a failure
somewhere between Chicago and Urbana which causes a packet corruption
rate of way over 90%.  It's finally being worked on with great vigor
- it didn't help that UIUC declared a local holiday last Friday.

It may be fixed by tomorrow noon.  I sure as help hope so, because
I'll be out of the country a few hours later.  My designated seconds
will keep on the problem though.
