CONVERSATION OR GRAPHICS?
CHOOSING A METAPHOR FOR CREATIVE INTERACTION
     
Prof. Desain is currently working in the areas of
natural language processing, design of complex graphic
interfaces, and on a powerful extension of the LOGO
computer language adapted for use in exploring and
generating musical structure.  He has recently visited
labs at MIT, CMU and other centers, and is in Toronto
as the guest of the York Mars Project and CSRI.
