Summary: Needed: Fiber optic plates. I need a fiber optic "plate" or bundle of the surplus kind that I used to see in Edmund Scientific catalogs 10-15 years back. The variety were typically 1" x 2", with a thickness of 1/4" to 3/4". The idea is to project (and as a side effect, collimate) an image from the back of the plate to the front. BTW, you can thank GM design for the need for this item! Any leads? I know this is not the right newsgroup, but I would suspect that others in netland with electronics background share optics as a common interest. -- Rich Straka ihnp4!ihlpf!straka
