A warning to those who park their bikes outside:
(especially in the "safe" phi-shaped security units, on SF's north side)

Someone apparently tried to steal my rear derailleur last night: The
control cable was cut and the derailleur was unbolted from the frame.
Fortunately, all the parts are still there, meaning that this "don't
leave the bike outside overnight" lesson will not be THAT expensive...
