Crosstalk Incident In an earlier article, I referred to an incident, which I suggested possibly was apocryphal, of problems due to 2600 Hz crosstalk affecting tone fraud detection equipment. I was told of the several years ago, at an ANSI standards meeting by a telephone industry employee. The incident probably took place in the late 70's or early 80's, and possibly was in Chicago.
