CS Dept, Ithaca NY Lines: 17 Hey! Whoaaa! I have been using GNUemacs on an RT for perhaps eons now. (actually, ever since 18.40), with no problems whatsoever. It compiled vanilla-style - I just edited config.h and paths.h, and make-ed. I am using version 18.41 rght now, and I have it running under X, and there were no mods needed to get it working. If you have internet access, you can get this from mit-prep, louie.udel.edu, or osu-eddie, I think. -- --chet-- In Real Life: Chet Murthy ARPA: murthy@svax.cs.cornell.edu SnailMail: Chet Murthy Gaslight Village Apts 21-B Uptown Road Ithaca, NY 14850 Office: 4162 Upson (607) 255-2219 MaBellNet: (607)-257-5709
