I'm about to bring 18.41 up on a Sun (which is of no consequence), but
as a side effect I'll be also bringing it up on a VMS-speaking uVAX II.
Would there be any support (in Europe, especially) for us offering to
write GNU Emacs/gdb/etc on tk50s?  This would help VMS-ites get it up,
I think.

And, as a general aside, it looks like GNU will be beoming the standard
editor on a new 8700 VMS box here at Birmingham.  Thus was the good news
brought to the huddled masses!
