This list was started because a couple of users here at BU noticed that the keypad definitions for their terminal type were changed, and they indicated that they wanted the original definitions back. While I am sure that my users can set up the keypad any way they like in their .emacs files, I still feel that it is necessary to have a standard for the keypad to be adhered to in future versions of GNU Emacs, hence the creation of gnumacs-keypad.
