Xref: mnetor comp.sys.amiga:4137 comp.graphics:555 You're all wrong w.r.t. what/whose machine generated _Luxo, Jr._ Sure, it was done on a CCI box (actually, two), but not Pixar's -- if they even own one. The poop is: much of the rendering of _Luxo, Jr._ was done by Sam Leffler of Pixar -- the same Sam Leffler who has contributed much to the 4BSD project over the years. Sam was working on the CCI port of 4.3BSD; he also did the rendering of _Luxo, Jr._ on the two CSRG CCI boxes, okeeffe.Berkeley.EDU and manet.Berkeley.EDU. Of course, if you're one who likes to read the credits of films, then this would be no surprise, since the closing credits explicitly credit Sam and CSRG, and mention the names of the Berkeley CCI boxes.
