   I am still new to our HP LaserJet, however, I use my LaserJet with an
IBMPC-AT.  I have in my AUTOEXEC.BAT file the following two statements:
   
   MODE COM1:9600,N,8,1
   MODE LPT1=COM1

   Using this setup, the PC to HP LaserJet connection works fine.  However,
I have several graphics/printer/... packages that I still have trouble with.
I ask for a certain font or whatever and get something different.  But, I
believe that is operator problems not hardware/software problems.

   I have been trying to get this to you for several days.  I tried to use
the mail utility with mailer from our NRL connection.  I keep getting no
such address or whatever.  So I finally decided to go the LASER-LOVERS way.
