We have a QMS_Kiss laser printer which has been a constant source
of headaches to me.  Does anyone have similar problems and/or 
recommendations?

The problems :

1 Some sort of a malfunction in which portions of print jobs,
  coming from our VAX(VMS) machine were intermixed, pages 
  being lost, and also pages being duplicated.  This degraded
  into lots of $ signs everywhere in the prints and finally
  a continues interface error (IE) condition.  This happens with
  the printer hooked up to a PC also.  It has been sent out for 
  possible repairs.

2 Trouble matching the page margins and the page orientation
  so that none of the text sent it was lost - off the printable
  regions.  The margins increment differently than the orientation
  and when I did get a setting which didn't loose any text, it
  did not print a full page; i.e. fewer lines.  Does anybody have
  a sample configuration which works?
