Recently, Mr Paul Bassett pointed out to me that in some cases rules in scmos.tech will NOT catch all the violations specified by MOSIS scalable rule set. I had modified the scmos.tech file and it is available for request. Old designs done with old tech file may or may not violates the added rules. It is suggested that designs be modified to fit the new rules. Designs done in old rules submitted to 3um runs should have no problem. Templates for 'mpla' given by UCB should be modified especially when designs are submitted for 2um and 1.25um runs. Shih-Lien Lu
