The machine is fairly new and proclams that it has an extended video bios when it self tests (I don't remember if the older D's do that or not). Anyway, it exhibits rather strange screen behavoir. The screen will blank during scrolling and will refuse to show anything until you have scrolled all the way to the top, when everything you have typed shows up. Strangely, mined seems unaffected.
