I got it to work OK with the IBM PC AT, but not with my HP vectra. After putting in the boot floppy, and after asking for the root floppy I get the message Winchester taks got message from -1 Unexpected trap = vector >=16 This may be due to accidentally including a non-Minix library routine that is tring to make a system call. pc=0x155 text+data+bss=0x9A00. Questions I have are as follows: 1. I looked inside the vectra, and apparently the disk and controller card are made by HP. Can anyone confirm or deny this. 2. Has any seen a simular problem? 3. If yes on 2, has anyone a fix, prior to my hacking on the code? Eric Engquist UNM College of Engineering engquist@hc.dspo.gov (ARPA) ucbvax!unmvax!eric (UUCP) (505) 277-5501
