After many queries I have found that no one really knows if MINIX runs on the AT&T 6300 PLUS which is a 80286 machine. If I read correctly the I/O chip set should be the same as IBM's for it to run. AT&T does'nt know for sure ( or doesnt want to comment). I would appreciate it if someone who has got MINIX up on AT&T machines could let me know if I should buy MINIX, or are the fixes/bugs too troublesome. Thanks sandeep P.S. The config of the 6300+ is 512K RAM, 20MB Hard disk; the printer and terminal are also AT&T.
