We have a port on a DECserver 100 connected to an async port on an NBI word processor. When transfering data from the NBI to a VAX over the DECserver the NBI is too slow responding to XOFF and we get a data overrun. This, of course, causes the transfer to fail. No problem in the other direction. We have tried setting the circuit timer down to 40 ms. on a recommendation from Colorado Springs, but that didn't help. We slowed the line speed from 9600 to 2400 baud. No improvement. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, R. Kevin Oberman Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory arpa: oberman@lll-icdc.arpa (415) 422-6955 ------
