SHOW USERS, etc); from within a FORTRAN program. I know about LIB$SPAWN, but it tends to involve a lot of overhead. LIB$DO_COMMAND does what I want, except that it is effectively the last line in the program, as no more code is executed once it is called. Is there any fast way to do this? I can dela with FORTRAN, BASIC, and Pascal, and I don't mind calling MACRO, though I don't know enough MACRO to program in it. Any light that can be shed on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
