Chris Petersen asks, "What are DEMPR's and DELNI's?"

Yes, Chris, they are somewhat obscure Digital acronyms for Digital
Ethernet products (hence the leading "DE" in the names).

Specifically:
DEMPR = Digital Ethernet MultiPort Repeater
DELNI = Digital Ethernet Local Network Interconnect

To this list, you could add
DESTA = Digital Ethernet STation Adapter
DEFTR = Digital Ethernet Frequency TRanslator
DEUNA = Digital Ethernet UNibus Adaptor

The latter spawned some near acronyms such as DEQNA (for Q-bus) and
DELUA (for Unibus) systems.

These acronym translations are correct to the best of my knowledge.
For more information, consult the "Networks and Communications
Buyer's Guide", part number ED 29170 42/86 09 04/43 75.0;  you
should be able to get this from your local DEC sales people.
(The part number above refers to the 1986 October-December edition;
you can probably get a newer version.)
