The Corporation for Open Systems is developing such a data base, which will be available on a nonprofit basis to the public; a prototype is now available to members. Public access probably will be available in the fall. This is not meant as a commercial announcement, as service is not for profit and is not yet generally available. We don't have specific pricing as yet, but, if anyone wants, I can keep them informed about membership and (when available) access and costs.
