The UDP-based services UDP/NTP (see RFC-958) and UDP/TIME will continue ticking indefinately. As mentioned several times to this list over the last few years, TCP/TIME happens to be rather resource-intensive in the fuzzball implementation as compared with other services usually considered more vital. The UDP-based services are much more accurate and less intrusive. Dave
