An incoming packet, no matter what its protocol or port, with source
address a broadcast address, has been formally declared a Chernobyl
Packet, since it can lead to Ethernet meltdown. Your somarter gateway
(and mine, too, after encountering these things) includes these
things in the martian filter, which unceremoneously simply dumps
them on the floor of a containment vessel.
