Extra half-bright mode is not officially supported by us in the Denise
chips.  Why ?  Because it prevents us from extending the number
of colors on the chips in a compatible.

And, yes, it is on the Rev 6 and greater Denise chips.  For now.
Its a 'use at own risk' kind of feature.'  It turned out to get in
the way of future expansion.  So officially we don't support it.
