A lot of this info is covered in the "Deluxe Video Advanced Users Guide," that you receive about 6 weeks after you send in your registration card. That guide says, for example, "Other genlock devices can be used with the Amiga. One that you might consider is the Telecomp 1000 from Universal Video. It has a unique feature that lets you place the live video in a window on the screen."
