The default icons on the workbench are horrible. Most people don't take the time to make nice icons for their program. Marauder II and Scribble are two disks that off the top of my head have nice icons. I don't think the ST or the Mac 2 share the ability of a totally different icon when the file is selected. I could be wrong so just correct me and not flame, I burn easy... The Amiga has some really nice icons, you just haven't been looking in the right places.
