This is exactly what we need Commodore to realize: that a smooth and fast workbench will make those Amiga 500's sell (as well as the great price). I have to continue hoping that the speed of drawer opening will also improve as well. I think I'll direct the following questions at CBM directly: Dear CBM folks: - Are these kind of improvements to the workbench being considered ? - If they are, when will we see them ? - If they are not being considered, why not ? - If you have no plans to do them, will you help us do them by giving us more information on how it is done ? Sorry to single you folks out, but I, and others, feel that the future of the Amiga very dependent on such improvements ! And we want the Amiga line to go as far as it can. This means that "everyone" that trys out an Amiga *has* to feel like it was easy, fast and exciting. This requires ease of use and MINIMUM delays in operation. Thanks for listening, Ralph
