Are you sure that it doesn't autoconfig? Or is it that the autoconfig has nothing to do with the dip switch? When reading the Insider doc I was under the impression that the dip switches settings are necessary for 1.1 Kickstart and Addmem. Upon closer examination it doesn't specify one way or the other.
