The result of this bug is that the text continues below the last line and goes down to the bottom of the Amiga screen where is gets stuck and dosen't scroll. (equality tests are great :-) The bug can be easily repeated by creating a line about 240 characters long so it wraps on the screen. Then go to the bottom of the screen (so it scrolls if you try to go down any further) and cat the file. Because of the wrap, it will go beyond the last line of the screen and the emulator will *not* scroll anymore. Further output will continue to the bottom of the Amiga screen and then get stuck at the bottom of the Amiga screen. -- Pat White -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: { ihnp4, seismo, ucbvax, decvax } ee.ecn.purdue.edu!s.cc.purdue.edu!ain BITNET: PATWHITE@PURCCVM U.S.Mail: 271 E.
