I need to be able to shrink an N x N bitmap to any arbitrary size M x M where M < N. I notice that Deluxe Paint allows you to do this to a brush, but I need to do it on the fly from a C or BASIC program, and none of the documentation I've consulted covers it. There's probably some algorithm that would do it fairly efficiently, but perhaps I don't need to reinvent the wheel. Does anybody know how DP does it? Am I missing an obscure ROM call? Please reply by email. I will summarize if requested. Thanks in advance. - Bob Lewis ...!tektronix!tessi!bobl
