This time: I downloaded the uuencoded version of fixobj from the recent posting by Norberg. Used Kermit to get it down to my Amiga (from IBM's CMS, using CMS Kermit version 2.01 and Wecker's Vt100-2.4). Then I uudecoded it with no error messages. (Often, I get various failures at this point.) Then, when I try to > fixobj src dest I get the "fixobj is not a ..." message. Oh, well. Someday. This problem, by the way, is the main attraction of ARCed files (say on CIS) for me. Those nasty nulls that xmodem adds are on the end of the archive, and not its contents.
