He says that they operate in 16-bit mode, but do not yet support Toolbox calls. He further says that in about a month they will begin to release compilers which *do* support Toolbox calls. Does anyone have any experience with these PASCAL based tools for the IIGS? Specifically, I would like to know how much memory is required for the system. The person I talked to thought that 128K was enough for the programming environment software Pecan is selling. He was not emphatic, however, which makes me a little nervous. I am searching for software development systems or languages that can run on the standard IIGS memory configuration. (The 128K I mentioned above refers to the IIGS side of RAM.) Also, does the software come in 5.25" format (I forgot to ask him this one)? Thanks for any information on this matter. ========================================================================= Disclaimer: This posting does not reflect the position or policy either of the Naval Ocean System Center or Computer Sciences Corp. =========================================================================
