The Apple //c's produced in the last few months have a slot for a memory card that is like the 1 meg RAM card for the //e. It can be used as a RAM disk or as expansion RAM for Appleworks 1.3 or higher. Apple moved the mouse ROM to slot 7 and the RAM card ROM to slot 4 for this. It is not a standard //e type slot but a special one for this RAM card. If you buy the card you get a motherboard upgrade free for older //c's.
