The computer had no problem loading programs but it trashed track 0 on both of the disks. After checking the timing (via copy ][) and getting very strange results. I checked the cable attached to the disk drive. I then discovered that the cable wasn't properly attached. Moral of the story: Always make sure that your cables are properly attached, and the connections are tight.
