Here's a note I found on a local bulletin board concerning IIGS software
compatibility (Disclaimer: the first person pronouns do not refer to yours
truly) -

I have tested the following programs and find they will not work in the Apple
IIGS. So if you are using these now, you won't be with your new computer.

        GATO
        SUMMER GAMES II
        ODYSSEY
        MULTISCRIBE IIE
        CERTIFICATE MAKER
        APPLE ACCESS II V 1.1
        ASCII EXPRESS PRO
        TRIPLE DUMP
        RESCUE RAIDERS
        LODE RUNNER
        LODE RUNNER CHAMPIONSHIP


So far that is all I have found that will not work, I have found the
following will work with no problem.

The programs with an # on them mean that you must use a card plugged into
slot 1 for your printer as the port will not work.

Remember, that the IIgs must be in 40 column mode for most of these programs to

work, and, some of them require the alternate character set be on.  It is best
to leave the IIgs in 40 column mode all the time, as most software that requires

80 column mode will switch to 80 column mode automatically.

I will keep you posted on any other items I find. Anyone else got anything
that will not work? Let me know by EMail #73.  Later
