Department of Communication Lines: 18 Keywords: Poor Documentation One of the departments I work for recently bought about 20 of Apple's new memory expansion cards. I spent several fruitless hours trying to get Appleworks to run on the card without success. I called my friendly local technician who promised to get to Apple and find out how to use the thing. He didn't get back to me so I called around and found one interesting little known fact -- you must have the latest version of Appleworks for the card to recognize the program and run. Since the department bought the machinery and the programs years ago (version 1.0) it wouldn't run. Not nice. The manual that comes with the card is a joke. Although it is printed in four languages it runs a measly 20 pages in English, without mentioning the problem detailed above. I wonder what else it won't do ... Bruce --
