Indeed, if domains ain't fun, they sure are confuzin' Sometimes it takes me five or six whacks at it to figure out how to send folks things. The reply routing on most of the things that arrive here is about as useful as the proverbial third teat. The above has bamboozled my poor capacity to shovel stuff through gateways. How to find Jim Hayes from bitnet? I tried various combinations of @'s and %'s and finally had to "cheat" (a little here and a little there from what WAS provided by the routing stuff) and got the gateway to accept HAYES@SDCSVAX.UCSD.EDU. Of course, my experience has been that I may still get an "undelivered mail" message two days hence. Jim Hayes, are you there? On a related topic. What is Newsletter "comp.sys.apple" and how does one subscribe?
