When I ordered ProTerm, I asked for a 14 day evaluation period, and believe that I will not accept the package and go back to Mousetalk. Reasons: (a) Proterm does not recognize any GS memory [and I am told that it may never], (b) Proterm always exits incorrectly and trashes the operating system resulting in a time consuming warm boot to restore, (c) Kermit does not allow small files to be transfered [causes files of 4 or 5 megabyte size to be created on disk when file size is really about 80 bytes]. I have returned the system disk to Check for an update since they released a new version apparently 1 or 2 days after shipping my order (? strange). I await receipt of version 1.3, but am not too hopeful. Seems that Proterm has a lot of potential, but it just ain't there yet. If I change my opinion after receipt of the upgrade, I'll report same here. Bud P.S., "Check" above should read "Checkmate".
